1. Encyclopedias

Start by reading an encyclopedia article on your topic.  You can access World Book Online from here. Note that the spelling of some Viking names varies.  ( Leif Eriksson and Erik the Red).  Be sure to explore links on related items to get a full understanding of your topic. 

2. World Wide Web

Next click on the prepared links that will take you to brief articles available online.

3.  Newspaper and Magazine Articles from Ebsco

A number of newspaper and magazine articles have been set aside for you in EBSCO's Canadian Reference Centre.   When you get into the database, click on "sign in."   Mrs. A will give you the details in class.
