The World's Biomes
This website was created by biology students at UC Berkely. It is organised in five types: aquatic, deserts, forests, grasslands and tundra. Each type is broken down into divisions (eg. grasslands are divided into savannas, temperate grasslands, and steppes. The authors provide information about climate, flora and fauna for each division, as well as a brief description of environmental concerns.
